 ALPE D'HUEZ

We will base ourselves at the top of the world's most famous climb. For 6 days we will stay at 1470m in this iconic town.  Our rides from here will include many Tour de France classics, with great views and plenty of little villages to stop in for Lunch.  Ride the Alpe d'Huez and the Galibier, and you will even have the option of riding a Tour de France type stage 4 categorized climbs over 140km if you wish.  Evenings can be spent enjoying a quiet glass of wine, or checking out the local cafes before dinner at a local restaurant.

The Tour de France course will spend 3 days in this general area, allowing us to get in plenty of Pro race viewings, including a stage Start where you can see all the team buses pull into town and the riders get ready for their long day of racing.

PARIS

We will spend 2 nights in the world's most famous city.  Arriving the day before the Tour de France in time to see the final Time Trial of the race on TV.  We will be ideally located to see the race finish on the Champs Elysees and take in the atmosphere as the town transforms for the arrival of the Tour de France to welcome the yellow jersey and all the riders that have made it to Paris.

You may choose to spend a few extra days visiting the city after our trip.

OUR RIDES

Rides will vary from 50 - 140km on mountainous terrain, including high Alpine passes.  The rides are designed to be challenging but achievable, while also taking in great roads and stunning scenery
